WHAT IS HAPPENING?
Baghewala Well B-12 is carrying viscous fluid while the current SRP speed and VFD add dynamic rod and pump loading.
WHY?
High viscosity plus reservoir cooling increases pump and rod loading, which raises dynamic impact and then elevates rod-failure and pump-unsetting risk.
WHAT SHOULD WE CHANGE?
Use 270 t steam, 24.5 bar injection, 20 h soak and a 68 h production cutoff; then run 2.40 m stroke, 4.9–5.0 SPM and 41 Hz VFD.
EXPECTED RESULT?
Higher modeled mobility and production with lower SOR, energy intensity, rod loading, failure and pump-unsetting risks.
Energy/bbl, cost and all before/after values are synthetic model estimates for the SIH prototype, not validated Baghewala field measurements.
